Checklist Before Installing on AIX
Before installing the engine:
If desired, remove any previous version of the engine by determining which versions you have installed and then running the installp command:
lslpp -la | grep IntegrationEngine
installp -u IntegrationEngineversion
Note When running the installp command, leave off the final digit of the version number.
oslevel -g
The license file to use for your solution is provided by your sales representative. This license .slc file determines which integration products can be used. If you need to update features for your existing installation, contact your sales representative.
The slibclean command unloads object files that have load and use counts of 0, those that are no longer used in the shared library region, and those that are no longer required in the shared library and kernel text regions. Before and after you install the engine on AIX, run /usr/sbin/slibclean as root.
