Minimum System Requirements on Unix
Before beginning installation, you must verify that your computer meets the resource requirements. The following resources are recommended for a Unix operating system.
At least 400 MB free hard drive space in the installation location, depending upon the installation options selected
These system requirements are the minimum for satisfactory operation in the configurations shown in the release notes file DataIntegrator_readme.htm. For higher performance, be certain that physical memory meets the requirements of the local system and all applications.
When you open a process or transformation, all components are loaded into memory. A large, complex process may consume so much memory that it will not execute. Where business processes permit, redesign of the process may resolve this issue.
Execute large, complex processes only on machines that have sufficient memory to load all components of the process while supporting the operating system and all other open applications.
